O.M.G RETURNS! BIGGER THAN EVER

– AFFINBANK Group today announced the winners for its O.M.G Returns! Bigger than Ever! at a prize giving ceremony held at Menara Affin.

There are six Grand Prize winners selected from each region in Malaysia to bring home prizes which consist of our national cars. List is as follows;

The O.M.G Returns! Bigger than Ever campaign was launched in December 2016 and the campaign ended in June 2017. AFFINBANK and AFFIN ISLAMIC customers of various products such as deposits, loan, bancassurance etc were eligible to participate in this campaign.

Besides cars, 16 lucky winners also walked away with the 2nd prizes worth RM8,000 in cash and electrical vouchers worth RM2,000 and 3rd prize winners of RM4,000 cash and electrical vouchers worth RM1,000. Besides that, the Bank also gave out 420 monthly prizes consist of cash vouchers of RM1,000 each.

“Since the beginning of the O.M.G campaign in December 2016, we are very proud to record a year-on-year retail deposit growth of RM545 mil or 17%, along with 48,732 new accounts,” said En. Kamarul Ariffin Bin Mohd Jamil, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, AFFINBANK. 

Earlier in June, The bank has launched the AFFINBANK and AFFIN ISLAMIC Visa Debit Card which provides easy and secured access to customer’s deposit accounts for the purpose of withdrawing cash at ATM or making transaction at participating retail and services outlets via VISA or MEPS network.

“We strongly advise our customer to change current MyDebit card to the new AFFINBANK VISA Debit Card. This is due to the new features, leverages on the latest payment technology and is accepted at all VISA acceptance outlets locally and worldwide,” he added.

The Bank also introduced its first point-based loyalty programme, AFFIN Rewards in which customers can earn one (1) point for every RM1 spent with their AFFINBANK Credit Card and three (3) points for every RM10 purchased with their AFFINBANK or AFFIN ISLAMIC Debit Card. Through the points collected, customers can choose to redeem various items such as shopping vouchers, electrical appliances etc via its website https://rewards.affinbank.com.my

These initiatives are also in line with our AFFINITY Transformation Programme in which the Bank is currently undergoing, whereby the Bank aims to offer more innovative products and services in order to enhance customer experience.

In this month, the Bank launched its “SHOP, DINE & WIN Campaign that starts now until 28 February 2018. Through this campaign, AFFINBANK or AFFIN ISLAMIC Debit Card members are required to perform retail transactions of any amount within the programme period to qualify for the prize worth more than RM73,000.
