This is an Islamic growth and income fund that allows you to achieve medium to long term growth in both capital and income by investing in permissible Syariah investments. The strategy of the fund will be invested up to a maximum of 60% in equities and the remaining fixed income securities and liquid assets

What is it for?

This fund is suitable for investors who:

  • Look for a balance of capital appreciation and regular distributions
  • Have long term goals of retirement or financing a child’s college education
  • Expect to receive distributions on a regular basis on condition that the realized income is attained

Benefits in Investing

Sensitive To The Needs of Muslim Investors
Being a balanced fund, Dana al-Mizan provides Syariah-adherent Muslim investors, as well as all other investors, with a different type of Islamic fund to invest as most of the existing Islamic funds in Malaysia belong to the growth category
Diversification
The Dana al-Mizan portfolio will hold securities issuers at any one time. This means the effect of the market factors on isolated issuers will only slightly affect you as compared to individuals who could lose most or all of their investments
Tax Exemption
Certain profit return and capital gain accrued by the fixed-income securities of the Fund are tax-exempted. Interest income arising from investments such as government and corporate bonds are also tax-exempted. This means potentially better returns for you
