Objective of the Fund

Seeks to provide stable income stream and an opportunity for capital appreciation by investing primarily in:-

  • A portfolio of Malaysian investment-grade fixed-income securities; and
  • A collective investment scheme primarily the International Opportunities Funds – Dragon Peacock which invests in equity and equity-related securities of corporations which are incorporated in, or listed in, or operating principally from, or carrying on significant business in, or derive substantial revenue from, or whose subsidiaries, related or associated corporations derive substantial revenue from the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and India
Investment Policies and Strategies
  • Invest in a balanced portfolio consistig of a collective investment scheme and fixed-income securities
  • In relation to the investment in the collective investment scheme, the Fund will invest in Class D Shares (institutional class) of the International Opportunities Fund – Dragon Peacock, a unit trust fund incorporated in Luxembourg which invests in equity and equity related securities
  • Investment in fixed-income securities will be confined to investment grade fixed-income securities in the Malaysian market
Asset Allocation
  • 10% to 40% of NAV in a collective investment scheme (i.e. the Class D Shares (institutional class) of the International Opportunities Funds – Dragon Peacock domiciled in Luxembourg)
  • 30% to 60% of NAV in fixed income securities (i.e. in a portfolio of Malaysian investment-grade fixed-income securities)
  • Minimum 1% of NAV shall be held in the form of cash or other liquid assets

Switching Policy & Switching Fee

No switch from units of other funds into the Fund is allowed during the Initial Offer Period

After the Initial Offer Period, there is no limit as to frequency of switch transaction. Switching fee will be waived for the first two switch transactions in any one calendar year (i.e. January to December) for each account

A switching fee of 1% on the amount switched or RM100, whichever is lower, will be imposed on the third switch transaction onwards made in the same calendar year (i.e. January to December) for each account

Charges, for instance bank charges, telegraphic charges and courier charges, shall be borne by the investor in order to execute transaction on behalf of the investor
