KUALA LUMPUR, Monday - Affin Bank Bhd (AFFINBANK) today announces that it is closing another three branches this week as part of its rationalisation exercise.

The branches are located in Rantau Panjang (Kelantan), Pandan Indah (Kuala Lumpur), and Pontian Kechil (Johor) respectively.

Rantau Panjang branch will cease operations effective Thursday, February 20th 2003, while the branches in Pontian Kechil and Pandan Indah will be closed starting Saturday, February 22nd 2003.

The closed branches will be absorbed, received and serviced by the following respective AFFINBANK branch as listed below:-

With the closure, the total number of AFFINBANK branches will be reduced to 84 from 87 presently.

Prior to this, AFFINBANK had closed two of its branches in The Summit, Subang USJ and Berjaya Megamall, Kuantan respectively on January 25th 2003.

AFFINBANK would like to assure its customers that their account number(s) shall remain unchanged for their convenience until further notice.

The ATMs at the closed branches will also remain operational at their existing location until further notice.
