AFFINBANK celebrates Ramadhan with less privileged children and new Muslim friends

Kuala Lumpur –This year, Affin Bank Berhad (AFFINBANK) continues with its traditional “Majlis Berbuka Puasa Bersama Anak-anak Yatim & Saudara Baru” with 128 orphans and 30 new Muslim converts from around the Klang Valley.
“AFFINBANK, as a responsible corporate citizen, has always been a firm believer in caring, giving and sharing with the community we live in. During this Ramadhan period, together with the staff of AFFINBANK, we want to share our providence and happiness with these children and new members to the Muslim fraternity,” said AFFINBANK/ AFFINISLAMIC Chairman, Gen. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Ismail Hj. Omar (Rtd).
The Majlis Berbuka Puasa Bersama Anak-anak Yatim & Saudara Baru is held at AFFINBANK’s Head Office in Kuala Lumpur. The breaking of fast was also attended by the Board, management and staff of AFFINBANK, AFFINISLAMIC and AFFININVESTMENTBANK.
One of the highlights of the evening’s programme was the presentation of duit raya in the form of savings passbook to these children and new Muslim friends by Gen. Tan Sri Ismail, AFFINBANK’s managing director/ CEO Dato' Sri Abdul Hamidy Abdul Hafiz and AFFINCare patron Datin Sri Mainah Abdul Karim.
