New Design Cheques - Attention! All Cheque Issuers

Effective Tuesday, September 1, 2009, in line with the rollout of the Cheque Truncation and Cheque Conversion System (CTCS) as previously announced by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), banks will only accept new design cheques conforming to the eSpick design standards and specifications for clearing.

After September 1, 2009, old design cheques with the following features will not be accepted:

If you are using the old design cheques, please exchange them for the new design cheques as soon as possible.
